The Fair of Practices will be held on November 26 and 27, 2009, from 10.00 to 17.00, at Hall 5 of the Belgrade Fair. The main objective is to gather as many young people of various education profiles and interests as possible, and offer them a chance to find an appropriate practice and thus learn about the way of companies’ operations and functioning, use and improve their potential, polarize their career, etc.

Why have we established the Fair of Practices?

The City of Belgrade Youth Office is in charge of creating and leading the youth policy at the city of Belgrade’s level.

Due to the current economic situation, it is now the right moment to do something for young people: to offer them professional practice and help them acquire the needed experience, as a basis for their future professional career.

Therefore, the Youth Office, in cooperation with the City of Belgrade Secretariat for Economy, decided to establish the Fair of Practices – a spring-board in further professional development of the youth.

What are the objectives of the Fair of Practices?

The main objective is to gather as many young people of various education profiles and interests as possible, and offer them a chance to find an appropriate practice and thus learn about the way of companies’ operations and functioning, use and improve their potential, polarize their career, etc.

Another objective is to provide for all interested companies to make sure of capabilities, potential and qualities of the new generation of professionals of various education profiles.

Where and when will the Fair take place?

The Fair of Practices will be held on November 26 and 27, 2009, from 10.00 to 17.00, at Hall 5 of the Belgrade Fair.

Why should you participate in the Fair of Practices?

First, because you want to offer a chance to young educated people, as a company that always thinks about the future and knows how to recognize a good investment.

Besides, this is a unique opportunity for you to get to know young people eager for obtaining a professional chance and proving themselves, in one place. Some of them are maybe the very thing your company misses, and you will thus improve your operations.

And finally, you probably remember your professional beginning and you know to what extent a lack of experience can slow you down in further professional advancing.

The practices you would offer at the Fair wouldn’t imply financial fees, unless you decide otherwise.

What do we offer you?

Each exhibitor will be given a free stand of 10 m2, parking places and the Internet connection at the stand.

The name of your company will be included in promotional material of the Fair of Practices (billboards, printed materials, a caravan visiting faculties).

All of these will contribute to a very positive public impression regarding your company.

Be a part of this big project, together with us

The main objective of the City of Belgrade Youth Office is offer various types of support and opportunities to young people, as well as to activate them and encourage them to bear responsibility for their future and take incentive for their own advancing and success.
