First fair of local self-government in Serbia to be held in Belgrade

The fair will last until November 5 and it will gather together over 600 local self-governments which will present their economic, cultural, tourism and other potentials.

Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Milan Markovic and President of the Permanent Conference of Cities and Municipalities and President of the New Belgrade municipality Nenad Milenkovic will open the First fair of local self-government in Serbia on November 3 at 12 noon, at the Sports Hall in New Belgrade, Pariske komune 20.

The fair will last until November 5 and it will gather together over 600 local self-governments which will present their economic, cultural, tourism and other potentials.

On the first day, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Milan Markovic will present the Draft law on election of municipality representatives, on the second day Minister of Finance Diana Dragutinovic will speak about financing of local self-governments and on the third day, Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic will speak about implementation of the Law on planning and construction.
