Agrofood 2009 opens at Skopje Fair

The 59th edition of international fair for wide consumption "Agrofood" opens at the Skopje Fair on Tuesday evening.The event will also include debates and a regional ministers' forum on increase of agriculture competitiveness for easier access to the EU market.

The 59th edition of international fair for wide consumption "Agrofood" opens at the Skopje Fair on Tuesday evening.

Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ljupco Dimovski is scheduled to officially open the event.

The fair, due to last until November 14, includes the presentation of 100 domestic and foreign companies in the fields of food production, tobacco, canned industry, wine, beer and alcohol production, beverages and water, confectionery products, seeds, agriculture industry and machines, packaging and packaging techniques, raw materials for food industry, organic food producers, greenery and horticulture arranging of grass and other outdoor surfaces.

Exhibitors come from FYRMacedonia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Slovenia and India.

The event will also include debates and a regional ministers' forum on increase of agriculture competitiveness for easier access to the EU market.

Agrofood 2009 is organized by ERA Group and Skopje Fair.
