You can get answers to these and other questions at the international conference "Exit Europe – New Geographies of culture", Thursday through Sunday (November 12-15, 2009) at Kino Mosor Community Centre.

Dubravka Ugrešić, Mark Terkessidis, Želimir Žilnik, Vladimir Gligorov, Dejan Jović, Rastko Močnik, Ugo Vlaisavljević, Pascal Brunet, Chris Torch are just some of the featured speakers and guests of the conference.
On Thursday, November 12, under the auspices of the Conference, a panel discussion on culture in EU accession process will be held, with presentations by EC Representatives from Brussels (Xavier Troussard and Wenceslas de Lobkowicz), Croatian Ministry of Culture (Nina Obuljen) and representatives of Culture Action Europe network (Ilona Kish) and Regional Network of Independent Culture (Emina Višnić). The panel discussion starts at 17:00 hours.
Exit Europe is an international conference on European cultural policies, with emphasis on new cultural practices in the countries of former Yugoslavia and critical review of EU expansion process from the perspective of disappearing political and social geographies.
The Conference is organized by the Zagreb Centre for Independent Culture and Youth, the Clubture Network and Culture Action Europe (Bruxelles). English will be the official language of the conference.
