As of today, Telenor is the only mobile operator in the region whose portfolio includes new HTC HD2 phone, the fastest phone at the market, with a 1GHz processor, 4.3-inch screen, the latest version of Windows Mobile 6.5, and the first WinMobile phone with “Sense” user interface.

Only one month after the world premiere, Telenor subscribers can buy this phone in three stores, in Knez Mihailova Street, Delta City and Ušće shopping malls, and through an online store (eshop.telenor.rs).

HTC HD2 phone uses the first capacitive touch-screen at a Windows phone, which enables easier viewing, zooming and size changing of Websites, Microsoft Office databases, PDF documents, and images by one touch. Big screen enables faster, more efficient and precise typing, using a screen keyboard.

Using new Qualcomm’s 1Ghz Snapdragon mobile phone processor, HTC HD2 provides higher performance, which increases speed of applications, video clips, games, and other options.

Owing to HTC Sense, which makes phone functioning easier, more ergonomic and personal, a user is in the focus. Ultra-thin HTC HD2 features contents in a sharper, lighter and richer manner, owing to the company’s experience, high resolution, and 4.3-inch touch-screen.

HD2 can be additionally upgraded, thus reflecting user needs and style, by downloading a vast choice of applications through Windows Marketplace mobile phone platform.

Resulting from 3G broadband connection, HTC HD2 provides personal wireless Internet for a PC or other devices, regardless of a user location. Namely, the phone serves as an access point to Internet connection.

As the new Windows phone, HTC HD2 offers strong options of message sending, browsing, and productivity brought by Windows Mobile 6.5. By combining the best in e-mail experience and a capacity to synchronise with Microsoft Exchange, it provides users with an opportunity to check and manage several e-mail accounts. New Microsoft My phone service enables automatic backup and synchronisation of images, music, contacts, and text messages with HD2 to the network, free of charge.

Telenor is the seventh largest mobile operator in the world, with 172 million subscribers, 2.862 million of whom in Serbia. This company enjoys the reputation of a mobile telephony innovator. Following an investment of EUR1.513 billion, the largest individual investment in South East Europe, Telenor has officially been operating in Serbia since September 01, 2006.
