Ekonom:east Media Group held its third annual conference yesterday, “The Pharmaceutical Market in Serbia-From Production to Sales at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade.

The Minister of Health, Tomica Milisavljevic, opened the event and said that the pharmaceutical market has a tendency of growth and that it is important that Serbia successfully implement all standards related to the production of raw materials and production.

Speakers included Zorica Pavlovic, Minister Assistant at the Ministry of Health, Vladimira Urbankova, pharmaceutical analyst at Erste Bank, Jane Chestovaliev, director of Pharmanova, Jovana Stojanović, Senior Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Gabriel Dina, Country Manager of Merck Sharp & Dohme, Vukica Kocić-Pešić, manager for development and quality control at, ADOC, and Marijanti Babić, attorney at law at Prica and Partners Law office.

This annual conference focuses on specific areas of importance within the pharmaceutical industry and provides insight into innovations in the private and public sectors. It offers participants the chance to share and grow ideas with peers and colleagues from around the region, learn the best practices and new innovations to reinforce existing skills, and learn new skills that will benefit the practice of pharmacy in Serbia.
