EIB, CEB, EBRD agree on Western Balkans Investment Framework

The EIB, the CEB and the EBRD have committed to securing 1 billion euros in loans for the region.
The European Commission, the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) announced on Wednesday (October 21st) that they have agreed on the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF).
The main objective of the agreement, expected to be signed within weeks, is to secure grant and credit financing for priority projects in the Western Balkans, particularly in the infrastructure sector.
The EIB, the CEB and the EBRD have committed to securing 1 billion euros in loans for the region.
