The National Bank (NRBM) has revised its projection of the economic decline for this year from - 1,8 to - 1,6 percent.

The National Bank (NRBM) has revised its projection of the economic decline for this year from - 1,8 to - 1,6 percent.

The new projection is a result of the latest positive revisions of the global economy forecasts, hence of the economies of FYRMacedonia's export partners, NRBM said Thursday in a press release.

Considering the quarter dynamics, a GDP decline of -2,5 percent is still expected in the Q3, while stabilization signals may appear at the yearend, when the declining trend will hopefully slow down to -1,6 percent.

The foreign currency reserves have gone up in the Q3 and conclusively with September are at EUR 1,526 billion, the press release reads.
