Bulgaria: Fandakova wins Sofia Mayoral By-Elections with 66.23%

Final results for the November 15 mayoral by-elections in Sofia show that GERB's Yordanka Fandakova wins with 66.23 per cent of the vote, Dilyana Zoulcheva of the Municipal Electoral Commission told BTA today.

Final results for the November 15 mayoral by-elections in Sofia show that GERB's Yordanka Fandakova wins with 66.23 per cent of the vote, Dilyana Zoulcheva of the Municipal Electoral Commission told BTA today.

Runner-up Georgi Kadiev, the candidate of the socialists' Coalition for Bulgaria, gets 27.71 per cent of the votes.

Next comes Pavel Popov of Order, Lawfulness, Justice with 2.82 per cent. Each one of the other 15 candidates has less than 1 per cent of all votes.
