A 32-year old man is the first fatality of the new H1N1 strain in Macedonia, Health Minister Bujar Osmani said on Wednesday.

A 32-year old man is the first fatality of the new H1N1 strain in FYRMacedonia, Health Minister Bujar Osmani said on Wednesday.

The man was admitted to Skopje Clinic for Infectious Diseases two days ago with high temperature and heavy breathing.

Another pneumonia patient, a 55-year old woman, is hospitalized in the same clinic.

For the last 24-hours, nine persons have been hospitalized with symptoms of the new influenza.
