A total of 56,810 tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in September, which is 5.5% more than the previous month and 5.3% more than the same month of 2008, Bosnian Radio 202 reports.

A total of 56,810 tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in September, which is 5.5% more than the previous month and 5.3% more than the same month of 2008, Bosnian Radio 202 reports.

The State Agency for Statistics says the tourists paid for 129,413 overnight stays in September, which is a drop of 5.1% in comparison with the previous month and of 0.8% in comparison with the same month of 2008.

43.7% of the total number of overnight stays account for Bosnian tourists and 56.3% – for foreign tourists.
