Referendum on construction of minarets to be held in Switzerland

On November 29, Switzerland shall hold a referendum on construction of minarets in this country.

Swiss Government and the parliament are strongly against any kind of bans, since it is contrary to constitutional values and rights and goes against guaranteed human rights.

Swiss Ambassador to BiH Rolf Lenz gave this message toReisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH Mustafa Ceric and added that the referendum will still be held because more than 100.000 citizens signed the initiative for it.

Reisu-l-ulema Ceric received Swiss Ambassador and thanked him for information and added that he expected for the principles of human and religious rights to be upheld in entire Europe.
