Ministry of Economy signed Thursday seven agreements on concessions for small hydro-power plants with company "Mali Hidrocentrali"-Skopje.

Ministry of Economy signed Thursday seven agreements on concessions for small hydro-power plants with company "Mali Hidrocentrali"-Skopje.

The total installed capacity of the seven locations amounts to about 5,4MW and annual electricity production of about 23GWh. he investment is worth approximately EUR 10 million, with a three-year construction period.

"This is a significant moment for Macedonia's energy sector, launching the next stage of the plants' projection, licensing and construction", said Economy Minister Fatmir Besimi after the signing ceremony.
