A delegation of the Assembly of the Association of Kosovo Municipalities submitted to Serbian President Boris Tadic a petition with signatures of more than 48.000 Kosovo Serbs, who demand EULEX to leave the province.

President of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo Ljubomir Kragovic said that after one-year stay in Kosovo, EULEX proved to be implementing the Ahtisaari plan.

That is why it is requested of the Serbian President and Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic to ask in the UN Security Council not to extend hospitality to EULEX any longer, said Kragovic.

He announced that the petition will be also handed over to the Embassy and the Russian Federation in Belgrade.
