U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo Christopher Dell called on the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija to go to the polls for the local elections called for November 15, evaluating that it is in their own interest.

In Vrbovac, Dell sent out a message to the Serbs that they should not allow Belgrade to manipulate them.

Serbia's officials believe that there are no conditions for the Serbs to take part in the local elections in the province, called for November 15 by the provisional institutions of the self-government in the province.

Go to the polls, Dell said at the official opening of the school sports field in Vrbovac, the construction of which was financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Dell expressed his confidence that a large number of Serbs will go to the polls.
