The data on how many people have been infected with the new flu (H1N1) will be handled on Tuesday, and based on these data, the Serbian Health Ministry's Working Group for monitoring the epidemics will consider the possibility to declare epidemic, President of the Working Group doctor Predrag Kon stated.

In a guest show on Belgrade television B92, Kon said that the declaring of epidemic is particularly important and implies a special immunization within which around three million people should be vaccinated.

Commenting on why the vaccine delivery is late, Kon underscored that the European Medicines Agency approved the application of three vaccines, and that in accordance with that decision, the Working Group made a proposal on immunization on October 2, and ordered the purchase of three million vaccines.
