The Government favors failed enterprises

The state didn’t turn out to be a good owner, even in enterprises such as EPS and Srbijagas, which should be successful. Then, how the state can be a successful owner of Serbian Glass Factory, MKS, Petrohemija and some other companies it has recently taken over? This is nothing but courtesy toward future voters, underlines Dragoljub Vukadinovic, President of Metalac from Gornji Milanovac, in an interview to the Ekonom:east magazine.

Nothing can ruin you as much as depreciation of the exchange rate or 20-percent inflation.

The state didn’t turn out to be a good owner, even in enterprises such as EPS and Srbijagas, which should be successful. Then, how the state can be a successful owner of Serbian Glass Factory, MKS, Petrohemija and some other companies it has recently taken over? This is nothing but courtesy toward future voters.

The Government of Serbia takes most care about companies that are not operating, whose obligations are higher than their capital, and which has neither a market, nor technology and capable management.
