All dailies report that with the aim of defending the civic vote, thousands of Gjakova citizens supporters of AKR candidate Mimoza Kusari-Lila protested on Tuesday near the Municipal Election Commission in Gjakova.

Kusari-Lila has raised concerns over irregularities in the municipal elections in Gjakova which were won by AAK candidate Pal Lekaj. “The vote of the citizen is sacred. It will be protected,” Kusari addressed the crowd of protesters in Gjakova.

Express highlights that Kusari accused senior LDK official Astrit Haraqia of being involved in the vote manipulation and theft in Gjakova.

“We have information from LDK commissioners that the chairman of the LDK branch in Gjakova, Astrit Haraqia, has allowed or recommended to LDK commissioners to work for the LDK and AAK, to fill voting boxes for the AAK candidate in Gjakova,” Kusari was quoted as saying.
