Citizens from Serbia can still enter Kosovo with ID cards for as long as the agreement between Serbia and UNMIK continues to remain in force.

According to this agreement, the citizens from Serbia are still not considered as foreigners in Kosovo-Metohija.

Kosovo Police Spokesperson Baki Kelani told the paper that while the UNMIK agreement is effective, the police cannot ask for passports to Serb citizens at the border points.

Kelani also denied reports in the Serb media over the last days that Kosovo Police has not allowed citizens from Serbia to enter Kosovo without passports.
