Elections Complaints and Appeals Commission (ECAC) has instructed the Central Elections Commission (CEC) to annul results in fifteen polling stations across Kosovo, eight of which, notes Koha Ditore, are in the Gjakova municipality.
According to ECAC officials, the decision came after it was concluded that election commissioners forged signatures in these polling stations. The other annulled results include municipalities of Lipjan, Shtime, Malisheva and Shtërpcë.
AAK member of the CEC contested the decision saying it was politically motivated while the AKR candidate for Gjakova mayor Mimoza Kusari-Lila said her party submitted 14 complaints of irregularities for Gjakova only.
