This year's 17th Telecommunications Forum TELFOR 2009, which gathers domestic and foreign experts in the area of telecommunications and information technologies, will be held in Belgrade on November 24-26, the organizers stated.

Chairman of TELFOR Management Board Djordje Paunovic stated that in the past 17 years TELFOR has grown into a significant regional manifestation, with over 2,000 visitors every year and several dozens of domestic and foreign participants.

TELFOR participants are mostly engineers, but also economists, lawyers, managers and operators discussing all relevant issues regarding telecommunications - technical, development, regulatory and economic issues, issues of production of equipment, services, system operation and repairs.

Special sections will be organized within TELFOR, with reviewed scientific and professional works, as well as special, technical and commercial presentations of domestic and foreign companies, seminars and expert workshops, as well as the exhibition of equipment, machines, systems, softwares and services.
