Round Table on renewable energy to be held in Belgrade

The Internet magazine Balkanmagazin is organizing a Round Table in order to promote renewable energy utilization in Serbia through Feed-in-tariffs – state stimuli for energy produced from renewable sources.
The Internet magazine Balkanmagazin is organizing a Round Table in order to promote renewable energy utilization in Serbia through Feed-in-tariffs – state stimuli for energy produced from renewable sources.
The issues to be presented at the Round Table include:
- - Changes and amendments to the Program of implementation of the energy development strategy of Serbia till 2012,
- - Recently adopted Decision on stimulating measures for electricity production through utilization of renewable energy sources and combined production of electricity and thermal energy. It is a document by which the Government of Serbia also introduces the Feed-in-tariffs – state stimuli for energy produced from renewable sources, and
- - The Decision on obtaining a preferred producer status (adopted by the Government of Serbia in September this year).
Introductory speeches will be held by Professor Petar Skundric, PhD, Minister of Mining and Energy at the Government of Serbia; Dejan Stojadinovic, Assistant Minister of Mining and Energy for renewable sources; Aca Markovic, PhD, President of the Executive Board of the Power Industry of Serbia; and Dragan Balkoski, MA, Coordinator of affairs related to connecting the Electricity Networks of Serbia.
The Round Table will be attended by representatives of companies that are active in this field, as well as media representatives. Jelica Putnikovic, Editor of Balkanmagazin, will be the moderator at the event.
The Round Table will take place on Friday, November 27, at the Serbian Association of Journalists, starting at 10.00 a.m.
