Member of the Health Ministry’s working group for controlling the H1N1 flu pandemic Branislav Tiodorovic confirmed today that the first shipment of H1N1 vaccines has arrived at the Torlak Institute.

In a statement to Tanjug news agency, Tiodorovic said that samples of the vaccines will probably be handed over to the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia tomorrow, which will assess the quality of the vaccines.

He said that if the vaccine is approved by the Agency it will be distributed throughout Serbia.

He said that he hopes that the Novartis vaccine will be examined within 10 to 15 days and vaccination will begin by the middle of December.
