The EU Council of Ministers today decided to abolish visas for Serbian citizens starting from December 19.
The EU Council of Ministers today decided to abolish visas for Serbian citizens starting from December 19.
Serbian citizens will be enabled to travel to all EU countries, except the UK and Ireland, as they are not members of the Schengen Agreement. On the other hand, they will be able to travel to Switzerland and Norway without visas, even though these countries are not EU members, but are signatories of the Schengen Agreement.
Serbian President Boris Tadic, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic and Minister of Justice Snezana Malovic are in Brussels today.
The EU Ministers of Justice and the Interior today also decided to abolish visas for Macedonian and Montenegrin citizens.
