Deputy Prime Minister for EU integration and Minister of Science and Technological Development Bozidar Djelic will attend the closing ceremony of the International Year of Astronomy on January 27 at 2 pm, at the solemn hall of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 73.

The key achievements that took place in the International Year of Astronomy will be presented. Djelic will address the gathering and present telescopes to several schools.

The International Year of Astronomy 2009 was declared to mark the 400th anniversary from Galileo Galilei’s first observation of space through telescope.
