Serbia, Italy’s cooperation in health sector

Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic signed in Florence a joint Declaration on Cooperation between Serbia and Tuscany in the Health Sector.

Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic signed in Florence a joint Declaration on Cooperation between Serbia and Tuscany in the Health Sector.

On behalf of Tuscany the Declaration was signed by Tuscany’s Minister of Health Franco Rossi.

The Declaration will create a basis for cooperation in paediatrics, children’s surgery, human organ, tissue and bone marrow transplanting. The cooperation may also include working together in other segments of mutual interest.

The General Director of the Italian health ministry’s Directorate General of Health Prevention also attended the signing. Another point agreed upon was to sign an agreement on cooperation between the Serbian and Italian health ministries in the upcoming period.

The participants in the meeting agreed to share information, work together on projects and training in microsurgery, micro-invasive and laparoscopic surgery, share experiences in transplantation models and exchange experts and lecturers.

They also voiced readiness to enable the treatment of Serbian patients with specific conditions in Tuscany’s medical centres when deemed necessary.
