President of the Government of Vojvodina Bojan Pajtic met today in Tel Aviv with the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture officials and business representatives about investment opportunities in the economy of the northern Serbian province.

Pajtic said that the talks involved presentation of the investment potentials of Vojvodina and its government’s incentives aimed at increasing the inflow of foreign capital and the opening of new jobs.

Stating that 40% of total production in the territory of Vojvodina are products of the agro-industry, the President of the Provincial Government said that it is because of this very fact that Israeli investors are mostly interested in investing in agriculture.
