The Serbs from northern Kosmet blocked yesterday for an hour the major roads Pristina-Raska and Zubin Potok-Ribarice, because of the establishing of EULEX custom points on the administrative line between the Province and central Serbia.
Representatives of the municipalities of Leposavic, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and Kosovska Mitrovica have invited the citizens to turn out for the rally that will be held on February 10 in Kosovska Mitrovica. They have reminded that the Serbs are protesting due to the formation of the Kosovo Security Forces and unilateral decisions of EULEX to establish the custom crossings in Jarinje and Brnjak.
This is just a warning to the representatives of the international community that the Serbs will not allow for the creation of a border between Kosmet and the rest of Serbia, underlined the Serb political leaders.
They have invited KFOR representatives to refrain from the promotion of the Kosovo Security Forces in the Serb communities and to work within their mandate.
