The Ras-Prizren Eparchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church warned of the disastrous state of the Serbian spiritual and cultural heritage in Kosovo and in particular pointed to the destroyed Church of the Holy Trinity in Djakovica, whose traces are completely destroyed.

According to the statement of the Eparchy Office for Heritage, the last recordings made on June 22 2009 confirmed that the location of the extremely old church was turned into a park and that there are no traces whatsoever that the orthodox church was there.

This is a serious crime as the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church was usurped and the purpose of construction land changed, it was emphasized in the statement.
